Theobroma means ‘Food of the Gods’ in Greek, befitting our exclusive and indulgent range of offerings that include brownies, cakes, desserts, chocolates, breads, and savouries.
From our humble beginnings in 2004, when the first Theobroma pastry store opened its doors at the iconic Cusrow Baug at Colaba Causeway (Mumbai), we’ve grown to become a Pan-India chain of patisseries with stores in over 30 cities.
Our mission is to spread happiness by serving smiles on a plate, and this journey continues as we open Theobroma patisseries across the country.

Chief Executive Officer
With over 22 years of international management experience, Rishi has a track record of increasing sales & growing bottom line while driving operational improvements & business transformation, in dynamic and demanding business environments. His areas of expertise include P&L Management, Strategy, Operations, Business Development, Program Management, Change Management & Business Transformation. He was awarded the D&I CEO of the Year at the 2019 Future Fluent Global Summit and has served on the advisory boards of global non-profits Catalyst and Stop Hunger Foundation.
KUNAL KUMAR
Head – Production, Product Development & Innovation
With over 20 years of culinary and F&B experience, Kunal heads Production and New Product Development at Theobroma. A graduate of the Oberoi Centre for Learning and Development (OCLD), he has worked with prestigious hospitality chains such as Oberoi Hotels, Accor Hotels and Leela hotels, with international stints in South East Asia and France. Complimenting the extensive experience in hospitality, he has also held leadership positions in the food and bakery manufacturing and retail industry.
TINA SETHI
Chief Marketing Officer
With over 21 years of consumer marketing and brand building experience, Tina leads Marketing at Theobroma. A graduate of the Indian School of Business (ISB), she has worked with large-scale, mid-size and early-stage consumer products businesses across FMCG, F&B, lifestyle, health and wellness. A prolific marketer, her areas of expertise including Marketing Strategy, Go-to-Market Planning, Brand and Category Management, New Product Development, Digital Marketing, Content & Communication, Consumer Engagement.
GEETA A SUNDRANI
Chief Human Resources Officer
A seasoned hospitality and human resources professional with 24 years of experience, Geeta leads the HR function at Theobroma. She has worked extensively with national and international hospitality chains and has a proven track record of building successful HR frameworks from scratch. Her areas of expertise include Organisation Design, Workforce Planning and Recruitment, Learning and Development, Employee Engagement, Talent Assessment and Development, Industrial Relations and Compliance.
